White "turquoise" is actually one of two stones, one called howlite and the other is magnesite, but it is given the same rugged impression as turquoise, so the industry has given it the moniker, white turquoise. It is also often dyed to resemble genuine turquoise and I use this stone sometimes to keep prices low and cool factors high. Here, the magnesite is combined with antiqued brass finish pieces with a niobium ear wire, which is remarkably hypo-allergenic and highly recommended for those with metal sensitivities. About 1.75" long.
