About the Jewelry
Who Wears Bethany Dell'Agnello Jewelry?
My customers seem to love buying jewelry from someone who lives, breathes and dreams jewelry and then lovingly makes each piece herself. I make jewelry for women who enjoy owning something unique that other women around the office or on the street aren't going to have. Most women truly do want to express themselves, whether it is their inner child, inner sophisticate or inner artist. Why not all three? Just set yourself free...Don't limit yourself to what "matches" or what is safe. Express yourself using color and texture and movement.
Metals
I use only .925 sterling silver in all my silver jewelry (unless otherwise noted). Other metals vary. I use 14 kt gold-filled for all gold ear hooks, hooks and chains for necklaces and bracelets and for most wire-work done in gold, as well as some of my gold beads. I also use gold plated pewter, vermeil (24 kt gold plated over sterling silver) and brass. I love copper and incorporate it as well when it suits my mood.
Maintenance
I recommend using polishing cloths to maintain your metal jewelry (such as Sunshine polishing cloths). Beware of dips, they can be destructive to the oxidized finish of Bali silver beads and will ruin pearls.
Ear wires or hooks
I make two different types of earring hooks: standard french hook and artistic hooks, which are a bit larger and more round. Any earring can be changed to the desired ear hook, just contact me!
